WIAAA is an Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC), and as such we provide objective information and assistance to individuals while cultivating a network of other service providers to ensure that we are able to meet the needs of older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers.

Information & Assistance
We provide a vast array of information to our clients. Our goal is to provide individuals with current information on opportunities and services in our community, while providing assistance along the way.
Benefit Access Application Assistance
The Benefit Access Program offers two benefits for seniors and persons with disabilities: a license plate sticker discount and free rids on fixed-route transit systems. *Eligibility is determined by income, residency, age and/or disability utilizing an online application.
Options Counseling
Options Counseling is a person-centered, interactive, decision-support process, where we help clients address multiple issues. We provide assistance in the deliberation process so that clients can make informed decisions about their long-term supports and services based on their own preferences, strengths, and values.
Senior Health Insurance Program (SHIP) Counseling
SHIP is for Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers. SHIP counselors are trained to educate consumers and answer questions about Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Medicare Advantage, private fee-for-service and other health insurance; Organize and assist in filing Medicare and Medicare Advantage claims; and Analyze Medicare Supplement.

Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP)
Senior Medicare Patrol aims to prevent Medicare fraud by educating Medicare Beneficiaries to Protect, Detect and Report Medicare fraud and abuse. To learn more visit our SMP page.
