Fall Prevention Health Fair

Is balance an issue for you? Do you worry about falling? Have you recently experienced a fall? If you said, “Yes,” to any of these questions, then we have just the health fair for you!

On Thursday, September 21 we are co-hosting our inaugural Fall Prevention Health Fair with our friends at the Rock Island County Senior Center. Join us for free screenings and helpful information from healthcare professionals and experts in fall prevention.

The Fall Prevention Health Fair is 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM at the Rock Island County Senior Center, located at 2221 11th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201.

Featured Tables:

A Matter of Balance, an evidenced-based program, will have coaches on hand to talk about exercises and classes you can take to improve your risk of falls.

Rock Valley Physical Therapy will have a therapist there to answer questions about fall prevention and how to get up safely if you do fall.

Other venders will be there with information and resources as well. So join us and take your first confident step in reducing your risk of falling.
